Announcements!
The Beaverton School Board approved our application for Charter status on September 29th! We are excited and thrilled to work with the District to bring these additional options to the Beaverton Community.
What is a Charter School?
A charter school is a public school that receives public funds under a written agreement – a charter – that outlines student performance goals and educational services the public charter school will provide. Charters are excluded from many statutes and rules guiding traditional public schools. Why choose a Charter School?

A Charter School offers more individualized and self-paced learning. Classes are generally smaller. Students can learn at their own level and pace. Arco Iris will teach all subjects in Spanish so students will have the benefit of learning a 2nd language at the same time. English is also taught but the focus is learning a 2nd language. With a solid education, your child will be better prepared to compete in the global market place.
