Welcome to Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School!
Arco Iris is a free public Spanish immersion school based in Beaverton, Oregon. We are Beaverton's first Charter School!  We offer a rigorous education program for elementary grade students that includes Singapore Math, a highly acclaimed math program, as well as Spanish immersion. We are developing highly educated students who can speak in multiple languages; future leaders in our global economy. Language immersion, international cultures, small classes, strong curriculum. These are just some of the reasons why parents choose Arco Iris. We will be offering 1st-6th grades for the 2012-2013 school year, each year adding an additional grade.  Eventually we plan to become a K-8 school!

What is a Charter School?
A charter school is a public school that receives public funds under a written agreement – a charter – that outlines student performance goals and educational services the public charter school will provide. Charters are excluded from many statutes and rules guiding traditional public schools to allow the flexibility to be innovative.

Why choose a Charter School?
A Charter School offers more individualized and self-paced learning. Classes are generally smaller. Students can learn at their own level and pace. We follow most of the Beaverton School district curriculum but our school features Spanish immersion, Singapore Math, and small class sizes. With a solid education, your child will be better prepared to compete in the global market place.
